In-Depth Overview

What Each Service Delivers

Every service we offer is designed to work independently or as part of a fully integrated pallet supply chain program. Here is a closer look at what each service entails and the industries it serves best.

01

Pallet Recycling

Our recycling program is the backbone of everything we do at USA Pallet Recycle. Each year, over 400 million pallets are discarded across the United States, and a staggering number end up in landfills where they take up space and release chemicals into the soil and groundwater. Our Goodyear, Arizona facility is designed to intercept that waste stream. We accept pallets in any condition — from barely used surplus to shattered beyond recognition — and we find a productive second life for every single one. Pallets that can be repaired are restored and resold. Those that cannot be economically repaired are dismantled so that their usable lumber can be reclaimed for other applications. Whatever remains is processed through our industrial grinder to produce landscaping mulch, animal bedding, and biomass fuel pellets. Metal fasteners are separated magnetically and sent to metal recyclers. Our zero-waste philosophy means that nothing we receive ends up in a landfill.

Buy & Sell Pallets

Our buy and sell program is one of the most active pallet marketplaces in the state of Arizona. We maintain an inventory of hundreds of thousands of pallets in our Goodyear facility at any given time, spanning every standard and specialty size, every grade from premium Grade A to economy Grade C, and both heat-treated and untreated options. Whether you are a major distribution center needing a consistent weekly supply of 48x40 GMA pallets or a small business that just needs a few dozen pallets for a one-time project, we have the inventory and the flexibility to serve you. On the sell side, we purchase surplus and used pallets from businesses across Arizona at competitive per-pallet prices. If pallets are piling up on your dock and taking up valuable space, we will come pick them up and pay you for them. Our buyback program turns your pallet waste into revenue and keeps reusable materials in circulation instead of in a landfill.

  • Grades A, B, and C available
  • Bulk discounts on 500+ units
  • We buy your surplus pallets
  • Next-day delivery available

Pallet Repair

Pallet repair is one of the smartest investments any logistics-dependent business can make. The math is simple: a new 48x40 GMA pallet costs between $12 and $20, while repairing the same pallet costs between $3 and $7 depending on the extent of damage. For operations that cycle through hundreds or thousands of pallets per month, that difference translates into savings of tens of thousands of dollars annually. Our repair facility in Goodyear, Arizona is staffed by experienced repair crews who handle every type of pallet damage you can imagine. Broken deck boards are replaced with same-specification lumber. Split stringers are reinforced with companion boards that restore full load-bearing capacity. Protruding nails are driven flush or replaced with ring-shank fasteners that resist backing out. Missing lead boards, crushed notches, and loose blocks are all addressed with precision and care. Every repaired pallet undergoes a final inspection to ensure it meets or exceeds NWPCA quality standards before it is returned to your inventory.

Key Features

  • On-site or facility-based repair
  • NWPCA quality standards
  • Up to 60% savings vs. new
  • Fast turnaround times

Transportation & Delivery

Pallet logistics is not just an add-on for us — it is a core capability that connects every other service we offer. When you buy pallets, we deliver them. When you recycle, we pick them up. When you repair, we handle both the inbound and outbound transportation. Our fleet of trucks and trailers is purpose-built for pallet transportation, with configurations ranging from small pickup trucks for urgent small-batch runs to full 53-foot enclosed trailers capable of hauling 500 or more pallets per load. Unlike general freight carriers who treat pallets as an afterthought, our drivers are pallet logistics specialists. They know how to stack, strap, and secure pallets for maximum capacity and minimum damage during transit. They know the loading docks at facilities across the Phoenix metro area, and they know how to navigate tight spaces and challenging access points. Our dispatch team monitors every load in real time and communicates proactively with your receiving or shipping team so you always know exactly when to expect us.

  • Full Phoenix metro coverage
  • Flatbed and enclosed trailers
  • Flexible scheduling options
  • Real-time delivery tracking

Pallet Management Programs

For businesses that process large volumes of pallets, managing that pallet flow internally is surprisingly expensive. Someone has to count inventory, sort good pallets from damaged ones, arrange pickups, place orders for replacements, and keep track of costs — all while trying to keep the loading dock organized and the warehouse running smoothly. Our pallet management programs take all of that off your plate. We assign a dedicated account manager to your facility who learns the specifics of your operation and builds a program around your needs. We track your inventory, sort your pallets on a regular schedule, automatically replenish your stock when it drops below agreed thresholds, remove broken and end-of-life pallets for recycling, and deliver detailed monthly reports that give you complete visibility into your pallet costs and environmental impact. The typical customer sees a 20-35% reduction in total pallet spend within the first year, along with a dramatic reduction in dock clutter and administrative overhead.

Key Features

  • Dedicated account manager
  • Inventory tracking & reporting
  • Scheduled pickup rotations
  • Cost optimization analysis

Pricing Overview

Transparent Pricing Across Every Service

We believe in transparent, competitive pricing with no hidden fees. While exact rates depend on volume, grade, and specific requirements, here is a general overview of what to expect across our service lines.

Pallet Recycling

Free pickup for 50+ pallets

Recycling pickup is provided at no cost for loads of 50 or more standard pallets within the Phoenix metropolitan area. Smaller loads or locations outside our primary service area may incur a modest pickup fee. We also offer recycling credits for high-quality pallets that can be resold, effectively paying you for your recyclable inventory.

Buy Pallets

$3 - $20+ per pallet

Pricing varies by grade, size, and quantity. Economy Grade C pallets start as low as $3 each, while premium Grade A pallets range from $7 to $11 for standard 48x40 sizes. New and custom-built pallets run $12 to $20 or more. Volume discounts of 5-25% are available for orders of 100 or more pallets.

Sell Pallets

$1 - $6+ per pallet

We buy used pallets at competitive per-pallet rates based on current market conditions. Like-new surplus pallets command the highest prices, while damaged cores still have value for lumber reclamation. Payment is issued within 7 business days of pickup.

Pallet Repair

$3 - $7 per pallet

Repair costs depend on the extent of damage. Simple fixes like protruding nails or a single cracked board fall at the lower end, while multi-board replacements and stringer repairs cost more. Even at the high end, repair saves 50-60% compared to buying new.

Transportation

Included or from $75

Transportation is often included as part of a larger service agreement. For standalone delivery or pickup, rates start at $75 for local loads within the primary service area. Long-distance hauls, rush orders, and extended service area deliveries are quoted individually.

Pallet Management

Custom program pricing

Management programs are priced based on the scope of services, pallet volume, and visit frequency. Most programs pay for themselves through reduced pallet spend, lower waste disposal costs, and recovered labor hours. We provide a detailed ROI projection during the free assessment.

*All prices are approximate and vary based on market conditions, volume, grade, and delivery requirements. Contact us for a current, no-obligation quote tailored to your specific needs.

Getting Started Guide

8 Steps to a Better Pallet Program

Whether you need a single service or a complete pallet management overhaul, here is exactly how the process works from first contact to ongoing partnership.

01

Initial Contact

Reach out by phone, email, or our online quote form. Tell us about your business, your pallet volume, and what challenges you are facing. There is no obligation and no pressure — this is simply a conversation to understand your needs.

02

Needs Assessment

One of our specialists reviews your information and asks targeted questions to fully understand your operation. For management programs, we may schedule an on-site visit to map your pallet flow and assess current conditions firsthand.

03

Custom Proposal

We build a detailed proposal tailored to your specific requirements. This includes recommended services, pricing breakdowns, service frequency, projected savings, and a clear timeline for implementation. Everything is transparent — no hidden fees.

04

Agreement & Onboarding

Once you approve the proposal, we set up your account, assign a dedicated point of contact, and coordinate the logistics of your first service. For management programs, this includes a comprehensive onboarding process with your receiving team.

05

First Service Execution

Our team executes the first pickup, delivery, repair, or management visit. We pay close attention to every detail during this initial service to calibrate our processes to your specific facility layout, dock procedures, and timing preferences.

06

Feedback & Calibration

After the first service, your account contact follows up to gather feedback. Were the pallets the right grade? Did the delivery window work? Was the crew efficient? We use this feedback to fine-tune the program before establishing recurring schedules.

07

Recurring Service Launch

With the details dialed in, we launch your recurring schedule. Pickups, deliveries, repairs, and management visits happen like clockwork according to the agreed cadence. You receive confirmation notifications and can reach your contact anytime.

08

Ongoing Optimization

Your pallet needs evolve as your business grows. We conduct regular reviews — monthly check-ins and quarterly deep dives — to ensure the program continues to deliver maximum value. We proactively recommend adjustments as volume, seasonality, or operations change.

Customer Journey

What It Looks Like to Work With Us

Here is a real-world walkthrough of how a typical customer experiences our services, from the first phone call through their first year of partnership.

Week 1

Discovery & Quote

You contact us about recycling 200 broken pallets that have been piling up in your yard. Our team responds within 24 hours with a plan: free pickup since you meet the 50-pallet minimum, plus a recommendation for our repair service since many of the pallets appear repairable. We provide a clear quote showing the cost of repair versus buying new, and you realize you can save over $1,200 just on this first batch by repairing instead of replacing.

Week 2

First Pickup & Service

Our flatbed arrives at your facility on the scheduled day and time. Our crew loads all 200 pallets in under an hour. At our facility, each pallet is sorted: 85 are repairable, 60 are in good enough condition to be resold as-is, and 55 are sent to material reclamation. Within three business days, we deliver 85 repaired pallets back to your dock and send you a detailed disposition report showing what happened to every pallet.

Month 1

Recurring Schedule Established

After seeing the results, you set up a recurring weekly pickup. Every Thursday morning, our truck arrives to collect damaged and surplus pallets. On the same trip, we deliver any replacement pallets you need for the following week. You notice your dock area is cleaner, your team is spending less time sorting pallets, and your pallet costs have dropped noticeably.

Month 3

Program Expansion

Three months in, your account manager recommends a full pallet management program based on your volume. We begin on-site sorting, inventory tracking, and automatic replenishment. You receive your first monthly report and discover your total pallet spend is down 28% compared to the same period last year. Your operations manager is happy because the dock is organized and pallets are always available when needed.

Month 6-12

Optimization & Growth

By the six-month mark, we have enough data to identify additional optimization opportunities. We recommend switching from Grade A to Grade B pallets for your internal warehouse transfers, saving you another 15% on those units. We adjust your replenishment thresholds based on seasonal volume patterns. At the one-year review, your total pallet program savings exceed $40,000 — and you have diverted over 8,000 pallets from the landfill.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About Our Services

We have compiled answers to the most common questions we receive from new and prospective customers. If your question is not answered here, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

What areas do you serve?

Our primary service area covers the entire Phoenix metropolitan area, including Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, Tolleson, Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, and surrounding communities. We also provide extended service to Tucson, Casa Grande, Flagstaff, Prescott, Yuma, and other Arizona cities. Contact us for availability and pricing outside the Phoenix metro.

Is there a minimum order or pickup quantity?

For recycling pickup, we offer free service for loads of 50 or more pallets within the Phoenix metro area. Smaller loads are available with a modest pickup fee. For pallet purchases, there is no strict minimum — we serve everything from small orders of 20 pallets to bulk orders of 10,000 or more. Volume pricing begins at 100 pallets.

How quickly can you respond to a new service request?

We aim to respond to all quote requests within 24 business hours. For standard pickup and delivery scheduling, service is typically arranged within 48-72 hours. Rush and same-day service is available for urgent needs within our primary service area, subject to fleet availability.

Do you offer contracts or can I use services on-demand?

Both options are available. Many customers start with on-demand service and transition to a recurring schedule as their needs become more predictable. For management programs and high-volume accounts, we offer flexible contracts with clearly defined terms, pricing, and service levels. There are no long-term lock-in requirements for basic services.

What pallet sizes and types do you work with?

We work with all pallet sizes and types. Our most common size is the standard 48x40 GMA pallet, but we also handle 42x42, 48x48, 48x42, 40x40, 36x36, and virtually any custom or non-standard dimension. We accept stringer pallets, block pallets, heat-treated pallets, and both hardwood and softwood construction.

How do you price your services?

Pricing varies by service type, pallet grade, volume, and delivery requirements. We provide transparent, itemized quotes so you know exactly what you are paying for. Pallet purchases are priced per unit based on grade and size. Repair is priced per pallet based on damage extent. Recycling pickup is free for qualifying loads. Transportation is often included with other services or priced based on distance and load size.

Can you handle food-grade or export-compliant pallets?

Yes. We offer heat-treated pallets that comply with ISPM-15 international shipping standards, and we handle food-contact pallets that meet FSMA and industry food safety requirements. We can segregate, certify, and track these pallets separately within your program as needed.

What happens to pallets that cannot be repaired?

Pallets that are beyond economical repair are dismantled at our facility. Usable lumber is salvaged and repurposed. The remaining wood is processed through our industrial grinder to produce landscaping mulch, animal bedding, and biomass fuel pellets. Metal fasteners are separated magnetically and sent to metal recyclers. Our process achieves near-zero landfill waste.

Do you provide reporting or documentation?

Yes. All management program customers receive detailed monthly reports covering pallet inventory, inflow and outflow, repair and recycling volumes, cost breakdowns, and environmental impact metrics. For recycling and repair services, we provide disposition reports showing what happened to every pallet we collected. We can also provide compliance certificates and sustainability documentation for audits and corporate reporting.

How do I get started?

The easiest way to get started is to fill out our online quote form or call us directly. Tell us about your business and what pallet challenges you are facing, and we will respond within 24 hours with a tailored recommendation. There is no obligation, no pressure, and no cost for the initial consultation. We are happy to answer questions and help you determine which services make the most sense for your operation.
